hokusai creates pieces depicting land scapes and the weather within, this typically is a blue sky with clouds behind a land scape. he uses  more toned down lighter colours with a deeper blue, green or red embedded into the work. i like his art as it is aesthetically pleasing to look at and has a simplicity to it which works well with his colour palette. i can tie this to weather as it is mixed into the background scenery. he is also known for doing art of things such as big waves which is caused by strong winds.

Hayao Miyazaki displays his work by presenting his concepts and ideas in frames and on the wall of rooms structured to appear like a work space. it shows a personal place of where the ideas were made and thought of, giving a more intimate feel. he also shows his character design and concepts through books, an easy way to compile art into one and show multiple designs in one. it feels more interactive and enjoyable for people to consume. these ways of displaying art feels more immersive and personal with being able to actually hold the art and flip through it in your own speed.

or to void to a safe place during extreme rainfall conditions. It can have both immediate and delayed goods on health, food product and general well being.

there can be things such as drastic mood change because weather, which is defined as having significant feelings related to the changing seasons. The most well known is seasonal affective disorder or the" downtime blues" a depressive mood may be felt only during the winter time.

Summer lovers – mood improves on warm, sunny days

Summer haters – mood improves on cool, cloudy days

Rain haters – particularly bothered by rain

some individualities are fairly flexible to the weather changes, while others are sensitive to it.

Aspects of rainfall beyond heat and sun have also been shown to affect mood. moisture tends to make people more tired and perverse. atmospheric pressure can alter moods and cause physical reactions such as headaches.

from research such as this i put it into the idea of my characters personalities. making rain elves more cold, closed off, less likely to partake in activities. while not an explored character ray elves (connected to the sun) are more likely to be active and happier.

rain elves are more likely to enjoy themselves and be cheerful in the rain pour while ray elves are more likely to seek shelter and put their rituals and routines to a stop during this weather.

throughout the history of Greece, Greek gods were idolized and well respected. This idolization caused many rituals and customs to emerge. One of the most important rituals to the Greek people, were weather rituals. These ceremonies would be performed to honor the gods, cause pleasant conditions, and welcome a good harvest.

Each of these rituals had a specific intention for a different god. These ancient Greeks believed that gods were responsible for changes in the weather, specifically the Anemoi. The Anemoi are the four gods of wind, Boreas, Zephyrus, Notus, and Eurus. These gods are linked with the changing seasons and temperature shifts. In addition, the other weather gods were called “Theoi Meteoroi” and were believed to be controlled by Zeus and Hera. These weather gods, including the Anemoi, controlled things such as, rain, wind conditions (i.e. for sailing), lightning, storms, droughts, etc.

Some examples of these ceremonies performed include prayers, rain rituals, shrines, offerings etc. The Ancient Greek people would pray to the gods for favorable weather conditions. One of the most important rituals was to welcome rain. The people heavily depended on this rain because Greece was, and still is, and agricultural society. Farmers would pray to the gods for rainfall in order to grow their crops, support their families, and provide them with an income stream. It was a custom for citizens to pray for weather as a religious belief, and this was a very important Ancient Greek tradition.
